It’s officially playoff time as Georgia football and the rest of the country learned their fate in the College Football Playoff on Sunday. The Bulldogs earned the 3-seed and will play the winner of the first round matchup between Ole Miss and Tulane in the CFP quarterfinals.
Georgia’s quarterfinal matchup is multiple weeks away still, so they have plenty of time to rest up and prepare themselves for what will hopefully be three more wins and a national title. Winning a national title may seem extremely difficult even with how great Georgia has been playing, but there are three obvious reasons why they will win a National Championship this season.
1. Dynamic coordinator duo
Georgia’s two coordinators have received a lot of hate over the past year. Offensive coordinator Mike Bobo received most of his displeasures at the end of last season, but from the start of this year he’s had Georgia’s offense playing at a very high level.
The same however can’t be said for defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann and Georgia’s defense. The Bulldogs defense had multiple horrific showings to start the season, but that no longer is the case. Schumann has fixed all of their problems and has turned this group into one of the best defenses in the country.
Georgia arguably has two of the best coordinators in the country right now, and will certainly play a big role in Georgia winning a national title this year.
