3 reasons why Georgia's win over Tennessee was extremely important

Wins don’t get any bigger than this.

3. Belief in themselves

The last reason this win was important for Georgia, and potentially the most important reason, is that Georgia now believes in themselves that much more.

Georgia has really been struggling in recent weeks. They got the win against Florida two weeks ago, but it wasn’t as dominant as most were hoping. Then there was last week against Ole Miss, which was about as bad as it could get.

But fast forward to this weekend and the Bulldogs more than handled their business against Tennessee. A 14-point win against the No. 7 team in the country is extremely impressive. It’s even more impressive when you factor in that Georgia finished the game on a 31-7 run after the Vols got off to an early 10-0 lead.

So if Georgia can do that against a team as good as Tennessee, then they’re more than capable of beating any team in the country. So at this point it’s a matter of if they will play good enough to beat whoever they face, not if it’s possible.

So hopefully this game is exactly what Georgia needs to finish the season strong and make a run at a national championship.
