Georgia hasn't signed a recruiting class outside of the top 15 since 2000. Unfortunately that is exactly where they stand right now as they only have the No. 18 recruiting class in the country in the 2027 class right now.
A vast majority of the top players in the country have already announced their commitments, so that has left Georgia in a very tough spot if they want to end up signing a top 10 class. If they want to accomplish that they will need to flip some key recruits who are currently committed to other schools, and thankfully there are three prime options out there that could really help Georgia's recruiting ranking.
4-star OT Joshua Sam-Epelle - Georgia Tech
There are a few schools that Georgia just can't afford to lose recruits to, and one of those schools is Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets don't even compare to Georgia as a program, and considering they are the only other big program in the Peach State it is important to dominate them in all aspects.
Unfortunately Georgia Tech beat UGA out for in-state offensive tackle Joshua Sam-Epelle who is the No. 111 player in the country.
This was a loss that just doesn't usually happen to Georgia. This loss was one of the first signs that Georgia was really struggling recruiting the 2027 class, but this is a recruitment that Georgia potentially still has a chance in.
Sam-Epelle hasn't shown any signs of wanting to flip his commitment yet, but he has only been committed to Georgia Tech for a few weeks. And if he ever does change his mind it's hard to imagine him going anywhere other than UGA.
4-star DL Kadin Fife - Tennessee
Kadin Fife may be the most exciting target out of these three players. He was committed to Tennessee for a few months before he opted to decommit on June 24. This decision came just two weeks after he officially visited Georgia, so it seemed like UGA was the reason he turned his back on the Vols.
Unlike the other two players on this list, Fife is already up for grabs since he already decommitted. But just because he made that decision after visiting Georgia doesn't mean they are guaranteed win his recruitment.
Ole Miss also hosted Fifie on a visit this summer too, so they are a team to watch out for as well. But out of all the flip candidates out there, Fife is the most likely by far to eventually commit to Georgia.
4-star DB Jayden Aparicio-Bailey - Clemson
Jayden Aparicio-Bailey is a four-star defensive back that Georgia wanted really bad. Unfortunately he chose to commit to Clemson over the Bulldogs just a few weeks ago.
This was a really bad loss for a lot of reasons with the biggest being the fact that Clemson doesn't overspend their NIL money to buy recruits just like Georgia. If another schools comes in and overpays for a recruit it is easy for Georgia to write them off, but that is not what happened with Aparicio-Bailey.
Georgia was the only other finalist in his recruitment, so if he ever has second thoughts about Clemson they would likely be the first team he gives another look at. At this point there haven't been any signs of that yet, but anything is possible.
