Things are beginning to heat up on the recruiting trail for Georgia football and the 2026 class. The Bulldogs' class has just five commits in it, but they are currently ranked No. 12 in the country which is pretty solid all things considered.
However, Kirby Smart and his staff need to improve on that total and in a hurry if they want to finish in the top two in the country for the fourth year in a row. Thankfully they have a good chance to add to their class as a priority target for UGA will announce their commitment later this month.
But while Georgia waits for that decision, it is important that they continue to recruit other targets as well. And that is what they are doing as they handed out four new scholarship offers to players who sound extremely excited to receive these offers as all four recruits shared the below quotes with Dawg Post about receiving an offer to play for Georgia.

“When I received the great news that I was offered by Georgia I was extremely excited," Cope shared with Dawg Post. “My mom, dad and sister all yelled at the great news. I know a little about the University. When I think of a Dawg I think of a hard-working, well-disciplined football player.”
EDGE Landon Barnes
“It was an amazing feeling," Barnes told Dawg Post. "Georgia is a big deal for me because they are some Dawgs like me. The Georgia program is known for producing great defensive players for the next level. I can’t wait to go check out the football program in person in March.”
