Georgia has found a lot of success recruiting tight ends over the last few years. Kirby Smart and his staff are looking to keep that trend going in the 2027 class with one of the nation's very best in Brock Williams.

Williams has been showing a lot of love to Georgia, but Ohio State and Texas are the two other teams at the top of his recruitment right now as well. He has no plans of committing anytime soon, but his recent stance on NIL makes him the perfect recruit for Kirby Smart to bring to Georgia.

Brock Williams and Kirby Smart agree on importance of NIL

Last month there were rumors spreading that Williams could be nearing a final decision. At the same time he was also predicted to commit to Georgia. He however has not made a final decision yet, so it isn't clear if that prediction still holds true or not, but the above comments about his thoughts on NIL will make Smart really happy.

Williams said that NIL is important to him, but it is nowhere close to the most important thing. He cares more about the amount of money that he will make in the NFL, so he wants to go somewhere that will prepare him for the next level.

Not only is Georgia one of the top programs at sending players to the NFL, but they also agree with his stance on NIL. Smart has said time and time again that he doesn't want recruits that care the most about the amount of NIL money they make.

Williams' stance on NIL matches exactly how Smart feels, so that could draw the two even closer together. It's unclear if that will result in a commitment for Georgia, but this quote should increase UGA's chances at winning his recruitment.
