One of Georgia's top commits in their 2027 recruiting class is Kelsey Adams. He is a four-star offensive tackle who is the No. 112 overall player in the country, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. Adams also is from the state of Georgia, so all those facts make him one of the best commits for Kirby Smart and his staff in this class.

Adams' recruitment unfortunately is far from over as he has a few other visits scheduled this spring. One of those visits took place at LSU this weekend, and a photo of him went viral on social media for all the wrong reasons.

4-star Kelsey Adams forgets Georgia exists during his visit to LSU

The above picture went viral as it shows Adams spending some time with Lane Kiffin during his visit. That by itself isn't a big deal, but the fact that he flashed the LSU "L" in the photo is what is problematic.

That isn't something that a Georgia commit should be doing. It's already bad enough that he is taking other visits, but fans have come to accept that this is just part of recruiting nowadays. But to actively show interest in other schools in this way is a bit too far and a little disrespectful towards Smart and Georgia.

Could this be a sign that Adams is thinking about flipping his commitment to LSU? It's hard to know for sure, but this picture alone doesn't say too much about Georgia's chances of keeping him in their class. But the fact that LSU and Kiffin have one of the largest NIL budgets in the country is what makes his commitment feel weak.

Only time will tell if Adams sticks with Georgia or flips to LSU, but it's clear that Smart has some work to do to keep him in his class. Losing any one recruit is never that big of a deal, but losing an elite in-state kid to Kiffin of all people would be a tough pill to swallow.
