Kirby Smart has not had the best of luck recently when it comes to recruits committed to Georgia. The Bulldogs haven't lost any commits quite yet, but some are showing signs that they may leave the program soon.

Georgia unfortunately had another player add their name to that list as offensive tackle commit Kelsey Adams announced five official visits for this summer.

Kelsey Adams gives Kirby Smart another thing to worry about

Adams is a four-star offensive tackle from the state of Georgia. According to the 247Sports composite rankings he is the No. 112 overall player in the country. He also is the No. 11 tackle in the 2027 class and the No. 11 player from the Peach State.

As mentioned, Adams announced five official visits that he will take this summer. This includes a trip to Georgia on May 29 which will be his first official visit of the year. After that he will then take trips to LSU, Miami, North Carolina and Ohio State the following four weeks.

It isn't uncommon for committed players to visit other programs, but it is always the goal for that not to happen with Georgia's commits. Unfortunately that is exactly what is happening with Adams.

This however isn't the worst report Smart received this week as five-star corner commit Donte Wright was predicted to flip to Oregon. Wright hasn't officially backed off his commitment to Georgia quite yet, but it seems like it is only a matter of time until he does.

Adams is a key player that Georgia needs to hold onto. Games are won and lost in the trenches, and he is someone that would thrive in Athens on their offensive line. So if Georgia wants to remain at the top of the SEC, this is a recruitment they need to win.
