It’s been a couple weeks now since Georgia football has earned a commitment. A couple weeks at this point in the recruiting cycle is a very long time, especially considering Georgia still only has nine commits in their 2026 recruiting class.
With official visit season beginning this weekend however, it’s possible that UGA could really start to earn a lot of commitments over the course of the next month. But one recruit Georgia is after (and potentially leading for) just hinted at a potential announcement late Tuesday night.
4-star Ryan Mosley hints at upcoming announcement
Ryan Mosley is a four-star ATH who according to the 247Sports composite rankings is the No. 182 overall player in the country. He also is the No. 27 wide receiver in the 2026 class and the No. 23 overall player from his home state of Georgia.
Mosley was thought to be leaning towards a South Carolina committment earlier this year, and that reached its peak when three crystal ball predictions were placed in their favor earlier this year. However, at the beginning of May, Georgia received two unique predictions of their own from 247Sports.
Since Georgia’s predictions were more recent, it was thought that this meant UGA was the new favorite. That is especially the case considering On3 has Georgia as the heavy favorite in this recruitment as well.
So when Mosley shared the above post on social media late Tuesday night, many Georgia fans became excited as they thought this could mean a commitment could be coming Wednesday morning from Mosley. That however has not been confirmed by anyone, even if experts think Georgia could get good news soon.
Time will tell if Georgia receives a commitment from Mosley or not, but regardless there are a lot of reasons why Georgia fans should be hopeful in this recruitment.
