Georgia only has five players committed to their 2027 recruiting class, so that means Kirby Smart and his staff have a lot more work to do. This is the time of the year when Georgia will make most of their moves on the recruiting trail as they build their next class, and that includes trying to steal as many recruits as possible from other schools.

Ah'Mari Stevens is one of those recruits that Georgia has a close eye on. He is currently committed to Miami, but he has seemingly been stringing UGA along for a few weeks now. Stevens however just announced that he will take an official visit to Georgia later this summer.

4-star Miami commit schedules big visit to Georgia

Stevens is a four-star wide receiver from the state of Florida. According to the 247Sports composite rankings he is the No. 276 overall player in the country. He also is the No. 37 wide receiver in the 2027 recruiting class and the No. 31 player from his home state of Florida.

Stevens committed to Miami in January, but that commitment doesn't seem as strong as it once was because of his scheduled official visit to Georgia. He reportedly will also take an official visit to Texas and LSU as well.

Last week Stevens said that Georgia is a "dream school" for any kid, but in that same statement he made it seem like he knew Georgia wasn't the right place for him. That however might be changing as he does plan to visit Athens later this summer.

Miami has been a thorn in Georgia's side on the recriting trail as they have stolen multiple commits from them, so this is a great chance for some revenge. But Stevens is one of the top players in the country, so earning his commitment in any way would be a big win.
