Four-star linebacker Shadarius Toodle was one of the biggest recruiting wins of the summer for Georgia. Toodle was previously committed to Auburn, who everyone knows is one of Georgia's biggest rivals. Kirby Smart and his staff had other plans though because they swooped in and flipped Toodle from the Tigers on June 22.
Most would assume this would be the end of Georgia's battle with Auburn in this recruitment, but that however is not the case as Rivals is reporting that Toodle plans to visit Auburn this weekend.

Auburn hosting 4-star Georgia LB commit Shadarius Toodle
It isn't uncommon for Georgia commits to go on visits to other schools this time of the year. Thankfully it doesn't happen very often, but from time to time recruits do keep their recruitments open and pursue other options even if they are committed to Georgia.
It is however very strange for Toodle to still be interested in Auburn since he already ditched their program for Georgia less than three months ago. It's unclear what transpired to get to this point, but for now Toodle is not as locked in with Georgia's recruiting class as UGA originally thought.
Toodle unfortunately isn't the only Georgia commit looking elsewhere as three-star defensive lineman Corey Howard has plans to visit Alabama at some point this season. So this means Georgia now has to hold off two of their biggest SEC rivals for these commitments.
More often than not Smart and his staff are able to win these battles and keep recruits in Georgia's recruiting class, so it isn't time to panic just yet. But Auburn and Alabama are serious threats in both of these recruitments, and this weekend could mark the turning point in Toodle's recruitment that no Georgia fan wants to see.
