4-star WR sends Georgia a discrete message after recent offer

Georgia football is making one final big push to add another elite recruit to their 2026 recruiting class. Four-star wide receiver Samson Gash has been committed to Michigan State since the end of June, but he did not sign with the Spartans during the Early Signing period.

This left the door wide open for Georgia to get involved, and that is exactly what they have done as they offered him on Dec. 12. Gash appears to be very interested as he has already said that he plans to visit Athens sometime in January, but he took to social media Sunday night and may have sent a discrete message to Georgia.

The above message clearly doesn't say anything about Georgia, but it's hard to imagine that Gash isn't trying to send them a message. Georgia just officially got involved in his recruitment a couple days ago when they offered him a scholarship, so it isn't a coincidence that he sent this post just a few days after that offer.

Georgia will have every chance to end up on top in this recruitment. As mentioned, the Bulldogs are expecting to host Gash on a visit next month before he makes his final decision in February. While there are a few other teams getting involved in his recruitment, Georgia is currently the team making the most noise with the best chance to flip him.

Michigan State just fired their head coach at the end of the regular season. The Spartans have also missed a bowl game four years in a row now as well. Sure Gash is from the state of Michigan, but it's hard to imagine him wanting to play there when a program like Georgia is knocking on his door.

That doesn't mean that this is a guaranteed win for Georgia, but it's hard to imagine a scenario where he doesn't prefer UGA over Michigan State.
