Georgia went to battle against Florida Saturday night in what turned into a closer game than many people expected. But like is usually the case against the Gators, Georgia found a way to get the job done as they emerged victorious 24-20.

There were countless things to learn about Georgia from this game, but these five things stood out the most.

Here are five important observations from the Georgia football win over Florida

1. Georgia owns Florida

In case anyone didn't already know, Georgia owns Florida. The Gators have had their stretches of dominance in this rivalry, but this current point in time belongs to the Bulldogs.

Georgia has now beat Florida eight of the last 10 meetings (the Kirby Smart era) which includes the last five games. It really doesn't get more dominant than that.

The best part of this is that Georgia doesn't look to be slowing down anytime soon. Florida is a disaster right now and UGA hasn't been better as a program than they are right now, so all signs point towards this dominant run continuing in Atlanta next season.
