It wasn't pretty, but is it ever with Georgia? The Bulldogs once again let their opponent, in this case Florida, get off to a good start, but UGA proved why they are the best second half team in the country by staying true to themselves and capitalizing on a few Florida mistakes.

So even though the final score isn't what anyone maybe expected, UGA emerged with a 24-21 victory over the Gators in what was a classic Georgia football game.

Georgia downed Gators in the most stereotypical way possible

While this game felt like a classic Georgia victory, it started out in a way UGA fans aren't used to as Georgia's offense marched down the field for a quick seven points on the first drive of the game. Then Georgia's defense forced a punt after just four plays and it looked like UGA was going to roll to an easy victory.

That is when the game flipped in Florida's favor as they scored 10 unanswered points. Georgia unfortunately was on the wrong end of some bad calls, but they were able to tie the game at 10 heading into halftime.

Georgia once again started the second half strong with a stop on defense and a quick touchdown, but Florida took over the game from there once again. The Gators took a 20-17 lead and were driving deep in Georgia territory, but the Bulldogs got a big stop on fourth down which led to a seven play, 82-yard touchdown drive that ended in a monster Chauncey Bowens touchdown run to take the lead back.

The Bulldogs defense got another stop, and UGA coasted to the finish line to win 24-20.

Georgia fans might feel like this was a familiar result, and that's because it was. All season the formula has been to struggle in the first half before dominating late in the game en route to a close win. While everyone would have preferred to have a dominant victory instead, Georgia found a way to beat Florida which keeps all of their goals in front of them.

Up next for Georgia is a date at Mississippi State on Nov. 8 in what is the Bulldogs final road game of the season.
