Georgia football running back Trevor Etienne has had a great start in preparation for the 2025 NFL Draft. Etienne had a nice showing at Senior Bowl practices and the all-star game as he was named the top running back which fellow teammates voted on.

As the NFL Combine approaches, let's take a look at some teams who might need a Bulldog to their roster.

5 potential landing spots for Etienne

1. New England Patriots

Rhamondre Stevenson and Antonio Gibson are the running backs on this roster but both have their flaws. Stevenson's issues with fumbling and Gibson might not be a full-time starter yet in the coaching staff's eyes. Adding Etienne could introduce a dynamic back to the committee who could work towards becoming a starter as a rookie. The Patriots need to get more juice on offense and Etienne could provide that as a rookie.

2. Los Angeles Rams

The LA Rams are pretty good at the running back position. Adding a different type of back in comparison might do well for the room. Head Coach Sean McVay is an innovative playcaller and can scheme up play calls to match Etienne's skillset.

3. Houston Texans

The Houston Texans being listed could be puzzling to some, but adding a back behind Joe Mixon could be a great insurance policy. Mixon had some injuries last season but still performed well for the Texans. Etienne could be a solid running mate as a bigger pass catching threat compared to Mixon and Dare Ogunbawale.

4. Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys need offensive skill talent and running back is a big priority. The position has been a two-year problem for the Cowboys and there's a chance Cowboys could take two running backs in the draft. Etienne could perfect to slot into this new run-focused offense under Head Coach Brian Schottenheimer.

5. Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings need running backs on the roster for next season. Aaron Jones played well for them last season but he is now a free agent. The Vikings could resign Jones and add a running back through the draft, and Etienne would fit well in the Vikings' passing attack and boost their run game that will need some help next season.

Etienne could be a great fit on these all of these teams based on position need and scheme. Etienne has proven himself throughout his collegiate career and has a bright future, so any team would be wise to take a chance on him.
