Georgia football's pursuit of five-star EDGE LaDamion Guyton has been well documented. He not only is one of the top players from Georgia, but he is one of the highest ranked recruits in the country, so UGA have been very motivated throughout his recruitment. Unfortunately Guyton decided to commit to Texas Tech, but he has remained in contact with Georgia ever since.

But it seems like Guyton has just been stringing Georgia along because every time he gives UGA some hope he breaks their hearts again.

Things have more or less been pretty quiet between Georgia and Guyton over the last three weeks, and that made it seem like his recruitment was finally over. But that apparently isn't the case as he has reportedly been in contact with a few other schools yet no new information has come out about Georgia.

The above report from Rivals' Chad Simmons does not indicate who has been in contact with Guyton, but it does hint at there being multiple schools who still have some hope they can flip him. One of those schools likely is Georgia, but there hasn't been a positive development for UGA in this recruitment in quite some time.

Guyton was scheduled to visit Georgia last month for their matchup against Ole Miss, but he decided to cancel that trip at the last second. Ever since then there has been no positive news linking Guyton with Georgia, so UGA's hopes of flipping him might be gone at this point.

Georgia however appears to still be pursuing him aggressively hoping to flip him from Texas Tech, but it doesn't seem likely that they will come out on top. And with early signing day beginning in less than a month, Georgia needs to act fast because they are running out of time.
