Five-star quarterback Jayden Wade is the No. 1 recruit in the 2028 recruiting class. That reason alone is why it is such a big deal that he is already committed to Georgia.
Having a commitment from the No. 1 recruit in the country comes with a lot of perks. The biggest perk for Georgia is that many of the other top recruits across the country will now want to come to Georgia just to have the opportunity to play with him.
That is why the message Wade sent five-star running back Kemon Spell on Monday is such a big deal.

Jayden Wade sent Kemon Spell a message
The above post shows Wade reacting to a separate post about him and Spell. The original post says that it would be unfair to have them in the same backfield together. Wade responded to this post by tagging Spell and using the hashtag "Go Dawgs."
Now every Georgia fan knows that Spell is already committed to Georgia just like Wade, so this message isn't really helping Georgia recruit Spell to UGA. But this message will help ensure that he never decommits from Georgia.
Up to this point Spell has not shown any signs of even thinking about decommitting from Georgia. In fact he is the one commit in the 2027 recruiting class that would give fans the biggest shock if he did decommit. But Spell and Wade forming a close bond is only going to help them both stay committed to Georgia, and that is what this message is doing.
Spell will join Georgia next year and Wade will head to Athens in two years, so it will be quite some time until they are in the backfield together. But that time will eventually come and Georgia's offense will be unstoppable when it does.
