Kirby Smart and the Georgia football team were busy on Saturday for the G-Day festivities and if anything, it has people counting down the days for Week 1 to get here. There's a long wait for late August to arrive, but plenty of playmakers have UGA fans fired up for 2025.
The list includes freshman tight end Elyiss Williams, who enrolled early in Athens and just went through his first spring camp with the program. Williams signed with Georgia as a 5-star prospect and the No. 1 tight end for the 2025 class.
Throughout the spring, he was able to impress both the coaching staff and his new teammates. For the outside fan, it'd be easy to not know much about the youngster. However, Williams has gone viral in recent days across the country due to his size. Seriously, he's no question going to be a problem for opposing SEC defenses for years to come:

5-star freshman Elyiss Williams no doubt has a bright future for Georgia football
Yup, Williams is MASSIVE. Imagine being a defensive player trying to go up against him? Yeah, good luck with that. The new Georgia playmaker checks in at 6-7, 235 pounds. Give him some more time in the weight room/with the UGA nutrition team and he's going to surely add plenty of muscle.
Coming out of Camden County High in Kingsland, Ga., Williams was ranked the No. 29 prospect nationally per the 247Sports Composite. He chose to sign with the Bulldogs over additional offers from Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Miami and many others.
It's not just his frame that's impressive - Williams has sure hands and he's a strong blocker. It's going to take him some time to get used to the next level, but the signs are there that he's going to be a difference maker for this program moving forward. Local fans know all about his potential, but soon enough the rest of the country will too.
