Five-star quarterback Jared Curtis has been committed to Georgia since the beginning of May. Since announcing his commitment to UGA, he has never once showed that he is having second thoughts about his commitment, so it is clear that Georgia is where he will be playing college football next year.
While having the No. 2 quarterback in the country firmly locked in to Georgia's recruiting class is a big deal on its own, there are other things Curtis can continue to do to help Georgia's recruiting class even more. And that is helping recruit as many players to join him in Georgia's 2026 class.
Curtis has already been doing this all summer, and those efforts will continue this fall as Curtis recently shared that he will be at each Georgia home game this season.
"I will be at every home game this year," Curtis shared via si.com. "I'll watch those games and I will start paying more attention to their games away as well. So I'm excited for that."
Jared Curtis will play significant role during each Georgia home game
Curtis being in Athens for every Georgia home game this season is a big deal for two reasons. First of all it confirms once again that he is 100 percent locked into his commitment with the Bulldogs. This is something that no one should have doubted before this announcement, but it is always nice to hear that Curtis isn't going anywhere.
The best part of this statement however is that Curtis will be at Georgia helping recruit any other player also visiting Georgia for each game. This could include current commits who might be having second thoughts about their commitment to Georgia, or even potential flip targets that UGA is trying to steal from other programs.
Either way, Curtis being at Georgia for every home game is a big deal, and this update from him is a big win for all Georgia fans.
