5-star Jaxon Dollar will soon decide if Georgia’s final push was good enough

Jaxon Dollar is a five-star tight end who is ready to commit. Rivals' Steve Wiltfong just shared late Sunday night that he intends to announce his commitment on Thursday, and thankfully for Georgia they are in his final three.

Dollar also has Notre Dame and Miami as finalists as well, and they both have done great work throughout his recruitment. But Kirby Smart and Georgia have made a big push over the last few weeks that they are hoping they can cash in on.

Georgia had a lot of big name recruits visiting Athens during G-Day two weeks ago. Dollar however might have been the most important visitor in town on that day.

Specific details about his visit were not released to the public, but immediately after his visit ended he announced that he was planning on committing soon. Many believed that to be a good sign for Georgia, but it was impossible to know for sure.

Fast forward a few more days and it was confirmed that Georgia was still firmly in the race to win his recruitment. In fact, they were named a "front runner which is never a bad thing. This update from Wiltfong further proved that Georgia has a shot to win this recruitment in a few days.

Unfortunately for Georgia is it Notre Dame who many believe to be the team out in front right now. There is one crystal ball prediction in their favor on 247Sports and On3 gives the Irish a 79 percent chance to come out on top.

The prediction on 247Sports was placed last October though, so it's hard to know if it is still accurate or not.

Georgia and Smart will soon find out if Dollar will be their next commit or not, and while it's still unclear where he will be heading there are a lot of reasons to be hopeful.
