Georgia football has the full attention of five-star quarterback Jayden Wade. The Bulldogs have made it clear that he is their top quarterback target in the 2028 recruiting class, and it appears Wade is high on Georgia as well.
DawgNation recently caught up with Wade before he visited Athens earlier this season, and he sent a clear message to Georgia that they are one of the top schools in his recruitment up to this point.
UGA already has its QB1 locked for the class of '26… but the staff is keeping tabs on 2028’s top QB, @LightsOutWade7.

5-star Jayden Wade gives Georgia great news
When speaking with DawgNation, Wade said two things that really stood out. The first thing that he discussed was how much he loves the way Georgia is recruiting him. He shared that Kirby Smart and his staff "come to me as family" whenever they are in contact with each other.
On top of that, Wade also stated that Georgia feels "like a home" which indicates how comfortable he is with Georgia.
Not only is Georgia's coaching staff going all out for Wade, but they have called upon a few others to help recruit him as well. This includes current Bulldogs Nate Frazier and Ellis Robinson who played with Wade in high school as well as current UGA commits Preston Carey and Zech Fort who are Wade's high school teammates right now.
Wade is the top ranked player in the 2028 recruiting class according to 247Sports. This means that Georgia is going to have to defeat many elite programs if they are going to win this recruitment, but everyone knows Smart and his staff are more than capable of pulling that off.
No predictions have been made in Wade's recruitment yet, but it's clear that Georgia is one of his top schools right now. And as long as Georgia continues to make him feel at home throughout his recruitment, they will likely remain at the top of his recruitment over the next two years.
