Georgia football has their sights set on the No. 1 recruit in the country. That player is five-star quarterback Jayden Wade, who is the top ranked player in the 2028 recruiting class.
Wade has been on Georgia's radar for quite some time now, and he has returned the favor and shown a lot of interest in UGA as well. The most recent example is the fact that he visited Georgia for the Bulldogs week five game against Alabama.
It's safe to assume that Kirby Smart and his staff are doing everything they can to win this recruitment, and that includes getting two current Bulldogs and two committed recruits involved in his recruitment as well.
Georgia football going all out to land No. 1 QB
Wade plays for IMG Academy in Florida which is one of the greatest high school football programs in the country. Georgia regularly brings in players from IMG, and they are attempting to use their vast connections to persuade Wade to come to Athens.
According to a recent report, Nate Frazier and Ellis Robinson are the two current stars for Georgia who played at IMG with Wade and are in his ear helping recruit him to UGA. Then there is Preston Carey and Zech Fort who are currently playing with him at IMG who are committed to Georgia who are helping recruit him as well.
Wade has multiple years to go before his recruitment ends since he is a member of the 2028 recruiting class. But it's clear that Georgia is in a great position to win his recruitment right now. There is even a chance Georgia is his top school right now.
And with these four players in Wade's ear already, there is a great chance he could be the next great Georgia quarterback, after fellow five-star Jared Curtis of course.
