Georgia football is still looking for their second QB commit of the 2025 class. The Bulldogs do still have four-star Ryan Montgomery in their class, but Kirby Smart and his staff have made it very clear that they want to add another QB to this recruiting class.

One recruit that was at Georgia this weekend was five-star QB Julian Lewis, but he unfortunately appears to be trending towards Colorado. But there is another five-star QB to keep an eye on that Georgia still has a chance with.

Jaron Keawe Sagapolutele.

Sagapolutele is a five-star QB from Hawaii that is the No. 19 overall player in the country according to On3. He also is the No. 4 QB in the 2025 class and the top ranked player from his home state of Hawaii.

Sagapolutele was originally scheduled to be in Athens this past weekend when Georgia beat Tennessee, but that visit got cancelled because of a high school playoff game for his team. It totally makes sense that Sagapolutele would cancel his visit for a playoff game, but with Georgia's season ending soon there was fear that he wouldn't be able to make it to Georgia for a visit.

Thankfully however that won't be the case.

Sagapolutele visiting Georgia for season finale

According to reports from On3, Sagapolutele is planning to visit Georgia for their season finale against Georgia Tech. He will also be visiting Cal this weekend as well, which is the school he has been committed to since the beginning of July.

It is currently a three team race for Sagapolutele as he is showing interest in UGA, Cal and Oregon, which is a school he has already visited recently.

This will be a tough recruitment for Smart and his staff to win because Sagapolutele still seems very high on Cal and likes Oregon as well. It is impossible to predict what he is going to do right now, but hopefully his visit goes well next week and Smart puts Georgia in a position to complete this flip.
