Georgia football already has five-star quarterback Jared Curtis coming to Athens next season, but the Bulldogs already have their eyes set on another five-star QB. That player is Jayden Wade, and he is the No. 1 overall player in the 2028 recruiting class.
Georgia has been one of the frontrunners throughout Wade's entire recruitment, and in just a few days UGA will find out if they are his top choice as he will officially announce his commitment on Nov. 16.

5-star Jayden Wade gives Georgia great news
Wade shared on Wednesday that he will announce his commitment on Nov. 16. Georgia is one of seven schools to make the final cut in his recruitment along with Michigan, Texas, Florida, Ohio State, Oregon and Washington.
Wade has been the No. 1 quarterback target for Kirby Smart and his staff in the 2028 class. That shouldn't be a surprise to anyone since he is the top ranked player in the country, but Georgia has made it abundantly clear that they want Wade. And the good news is that Wade has reciprocated that interest as well.
Throughout his recruitment Wade has talked about Georgia more than any other school. He also has used phrases such as "family" and "home" when talking about Georgia, and that clearly is a great sign for the Bulldogs.
No predictions have been made yet, but Georgia has to feel good about where they stand right now. Wade could end up committing to any one of his seven finalists, but it really feels like Georgia could be the team that ends up on top just because of the countless positive things he has said about UGA.
Earning Curtis's commitment in the 2026 class was already huge, but imagine earning a commitment from the No. 1 quarterback in the 2028 class as well. It truly can't get any better than that, and there is a chance that is Georgia's reality in a little over a week.
