Georgia football is continuing their pursuit of five-star running back Derrek Cooper. This pursuit is coming to an end soon as Cooper is scheduled to announce his commitment in the next week.

So as Georgia fans wait to see who Cooper commits to, the five-star back may have just indirectly showed who he plans to commit to next week in the below social media clip from Rivals.

5-star RB appears to be leaning towards Georgia

In the above video, Cooper is seen working out in Georgia gloves. This may not seem like much, but he could've chosen to wear any gloves he wanted, so the fact that he chose to put a UGA set on shows how much he loves Georgia.

Cooper is scheduled to announce his commitment in one week on July 20. He originally was planning to announce his commitment on July 12, but for reasons unknown he pushed that date back. Even after this adjustment however, Georgia has remained the team to beat according to multiple recruiting experts.

Cooper will be deciding between Georgia, Ohio State, Florida State, Miami (FL) and Texas when he makes his final decision on July 20.

Georgia has a lot of recruiting momentum entering Cooper's commitment, especially after Saturday which saw the Bulldogs earn two commitments. These commitments came from five-star tight end Kaiden Prothro and four-star safety Tyriq Green.

On top of this recent news, Georgia also has five-star quarterback Jared Curtis already committed to their class as well. There really is no better selling point for Georgia than giving Cooper the opportunity to play alongside the No. 1 quarterback in the country during his career at Georgia.

Only time will tell if Cooper ends up committing to Kirby Smart and Georgia or not, but this latest video should give Georgia fans even more confidence heading into his commitment.
