Georgia football is two days away from learning where five-star tight end target Kaiden Prothro will be heading to college. The No. 3 tight end in the 2026 recruiting class has been predicted to Georgia by a handful of experts, but a recent video posted on social media by Rivals questioned that sentiment.

Kaiden Prothro still deciding between Georgia and rival Florida
Prothro has his commitment date scheduled for July 12 and he will decide between Georgia, Texas, Florida, Auburn and Alabama on that day. As mentioned, the Bulldogs have been named the favorite more than a few times over the last month, but the above post will make Georgia fans wonder how true that is.
Prothro is seen working out at a camp in the above video, and in the video he is wearing Georgia gloves as well as a Florida towel.
Now it isn't uncommon for recruits to wear gear from a wide range of schools throughout their recruitment, but deciding to wear both Georgia and Florida at the same time just days before his commitment doesn't make much sense. Prothro likely already knows where he will be committing to by now, and if it is Georgia then it seems strange to wear a rivals gear.
There is a chance Prothro is doing this to throw college football fans and recruiting insiders off his scent, but at this point it's impossible to know with 100 percent certainty what he is going to decide to do.
Thankfully Georgia fans only have to wait two more days to find out where Prothro will be committing to. However, even after this post it still seems like the Bulldogs are the clear favorite and should expect good news, but quite literally anything is still possible until Prothro makes his announcement official.
