5. Ole Miss Rebels

The four teams ranked above Georgia in the first edition of the College Football Playoff were obvious choices up to this point, but the Ole Miss Rebels may not have been as clear cut. The Bulldogs did already beat Ole Miss once this season, but they barely survived as they pulled away late to win 43-35. But beating the same team twice in one season is a difficult thing to do, and that is what Georgia would be forced to do if they get matched up with Ole Miss again.

The good news is that unlike with Alabama, Georgia will likely not have to face the Rebels in the SEC Championship game. Both teams can still make it there, but a lot of things would have to go their way for that matchup to occur. But there is always a chance Georgia could face Ole Miss at some point in the CFP.

The Rebels offense gave Georgia a lot of issues in their matchup earlier this season. Ole Miss scored five touchdowns on their first five possessions of the game, and if it wasn't for a perfect performance from Georgia's offense they would not have won that game. The Bulldogs defense did play perfect in the fourth quarter, but seeing what Ole Miss did most of the game was very concerning.

So while the four other teams already mentioned might be better than Ole Miss, the Rebels are a team that Georgia fans should pray they don't have to face again this season.
