There are a lot of negative things that can be said about Georgia after their loss to Ole Miss in the College Football Playoff. But there are also some really good things that happened in this game that deserve to be celebrated as well.
One of the performances that absolutely deserves some recognition came from Gunner Stockton. It's hard to give the losing quarterback much praise since they likely played a role in their team coming up short, and while Stockton could've played better he was an absolute warrior throughout this game.
And former UGA quarterback Aaron Murray said what every Georgia fan should be thinking after this game.

Aaron Murray shouts out Gunner Stockton even after CFP loss to Ole Miss
Stockton finished the night completing 18 of 31 passes for 203 yards and one touchdown. He also ran the ball for 20 yards and two more touchdowns as well. This wasn't the best statistical game of his career and it wasn't the worst either, but it was his toughness that really stood out to Murray throughout the game.
The above play was the first of two massive hits Stockton took during this game. He remarkably wasn't even phased from these hits though as he got right back without missing a play.
Stockton put this toughness on full display all season, so seeing him get back up after these shots really wasn't surprising. But that doesn't take away from the gutsy performance and comeback that he led Georgia on that unfortunately came up just short.
Stockton has a big decision in front of him as he could return for one more season at Georgia or declare for the NFL Draft. Georgia will obviously hope that he returns, but NFL teams will love what he showed throughout the Sugar Bowl if he does enter the draft.
