Georgia football's journey to win their third National Championship in five years ended at the hands of Ole Miss. The Rebels were no match for Georgia as they outplayed UGA all night long en route to their 39-34 victory..
This is something Georgia fans may not want to admit, especially because they had a chance to win at the end of the game. However, at some point Ole Miss deserves credit for winning the game no matter how it may make Georgia fans feel.
Even if Georgia fans don't want to admit it, they know Ole Miss was the better teams. Thankfully Aaron Murray said what every Georgia fan is thinking so UGA fans don't have to admit it themselves..
Ole Miss was the better team today

They went out there and earned it!
Aaron Murray said what every Georgia fan should be saying after losing to Ole Miss
It is hard to win a football game against a team as good as Georgia without a head coach. It is also difficult to win a game after giving up a defensive touchdown and trailing at halftime. That however did not matter to Ole Miss as they were able to overcome all the odds and take down Georgia at the Sugar Bowl.
Not only did Ole Miss defeat Georgia, they borderline dominated them. And even though the final score indicates a close game, in reality Ole Miss was the team that deserved to win.
That doesn't mean Georgia fans can't be upset for losing especially after they had a chance to score a late touchdown to take the lead, but Ole Miss overall was the far better team. They had the best player on the field in Trinidad Chambliss and their coaching staff outcoached Kirby Smart and his staff. They also had over 100 more yards of offense and made far less mistakes than Georgia did.
So even though it is hard to admit, Murray is right when he said that Ole Miss was the better team and deserves all the credit in the world for winning this game.
