Georgia football may not have been at their best against Auburn on Saturday, but at the end of the day that does not matter. The Bulldogs were able to take down the Tigers 20-10 in a game that was full of big moments, intense decisions and a little bit of controversy.

But there was one play that everyone will be talking about for years and years to come as Auburn fans will try to convince Georgia that the officials handed them this win. But former Georgia superstar Aaron Murray is not going to let Auburn fans get away with that.

Aaron Murray believes the officials made the right call on Jackson Arnold's fumble

The play in question occurred with about two minutes to go in the first half. Auburn had the ball on the Georgia 1-yard line, leading 10-0 and looking to extend their lead to 17. Quarterback Jackson Arnold called his own number as the Tigers opted to run the QB sneak, and that is when everything went wrong for Auburn.

As Arnold reached for the goal line, Raylin Wilson punched the ball out and forced a fumble that was scooped up by Kyron Jones. This play was as close as it gets as a few camera angles showed the ball centimeters from crossing the goal line. But the call on the field was a fumble and the replay booth determined there wasn't enough evidence to overturn the call.

Auburn fans immediately became furious because they thought Arnold had scored. Georgia fans on the other hand were arguing that the officials got the call right all along. But it appears Murray is choosing Georgia's side in this debate as he is very confident the ball was punched out before it crossed the goal line.

At the end of the day it doesn't matter what any Georgia fan, Auburn fan or even Murray says. The game is over, the play was ruled in Georgia's favor and the Bulldogs went on to win the game. Sure this play impacted the final score to some capacity, but Auburn brought this upon themselves. All they had to do was hold onto the football and gain one yard and this argument wouldn't have to happen.

But that isn't what took place, and Georgia did what they do best and took advantage of the opportunity Arnold and the officials handed them.
