Georgia football has the potential to be great this season. But no one can deny that they have more work to do on the field to prove they are one of the best teams in the country.

One team however that doesn't have anything left to prove is Miami (FL) who currently sit at 5-0 this season. Georgia fans however might be a little hesitant to give the Hurricanes the respect they deserve since Carson Beck is the leader of their team, but at some point he and Miami deserve their flowers.

And it looks like Aaron Murray is ready to give Miami all the respect in the world.

To Georgia fan's dismay, Miami may be the best team in the country

Miami has the best resume in college football, and there really isn't an argument against it. The Hurricanes are 5-0 with wins over Notre Dame, Florida State, a ranked USF team and a Florida team who just beat Texas on Saturday. This is by far the best collection of wins at this point in the season, so it's hard to argue any team is better than them right now.

Miami still sits behind Ohio State in the updated AP Poll, but the Hurricanes are an easy pick at No. 2 after the Buckeyes.

Some Georgia fans may not want to admit how good Miami looks because of Beck's betrayal this offseason. But maybe Beck doesn't deserve the hate he's been getting. Maybe Georgia fans should support Beck even if he is at a different school now.

Last week Beck opened up about how much he loved playing for Georgia and how he never wanted to leave. But at the end of the day some things just happen and there's nothing anyone can do.

So while Georgia fans are more than happy with Gunner Stockton and their team, it's time to accept that Miami is the better team right now. That doesn't mean things can't change throughout the rest of the season, but Beck and the Hurricanes have a great argument to be the No. 1 team in the country.
