Now that the official 12-team College Football Playoff bracket has been released, it is time for everyone to make their predictions on who they think will win it all. And while fans from all over the country will be doing this for the next few weeks, one would not expect college coaches to get too involved.

But if opposing head coaches are going to pick a team they want to win it all, one would expect them to side with a program that is from their conference. As an example, any SEC team not in the playoff likely would prefer either Texas, Tennessee or Georgia football to make a run and win it all.

That sentiment however is not the case with a certain ACC coach.

Former Georgia coach Fran Brown is backing the Dawgs

Former Georgia defensive back coach Fran Brown, who is the current head coach at Syracuse, was recently discussing how he is proud that the committee put both Clemson and SMU from the ACC in the final 12-team CFP field. And while he did wish both teams good luck, he ended his statement by saying, "With that being said, Go Dawgs."

This isnt the first time Brown has mentioned Georgia recently either as he gave Kirby Smart a nice shoutout on live television after their season finale upset win against Miami (FL).

As mentioned, typically coaches and fans will cheer for their conference representatives if their team is not playing in the playoff, but Brown is an outlier to that statement. This stance from Brown shows how great of a culture Smart has built at Georgia, because even after coaches leave for new opportunities they are still fans of the program and what to see them succeed. And the really cool thing is that Georgia's program and fans would love nothing more than for Brown, or any other former coach, to find success at their new program as well.

Hopefully Georgia will be able to make Brown proud and win three more games en route to a National Championship. And hopefully we get to see Syracuse make a run at the CFP soon.
