Alabama fans hadn't witnessed a Georgia win in Tuscaloosa in nearly 20 years, that is until the Bulldogs came to to town last weekend and left with a dramatic 20-17 win.
This game was the back and forth battle that fans were hoping for, and it ended in a bit of controversy when a relatively clear pass interference was not called on Georgia during Alabama's final drive. That led to Alabama fans leaving the stadium in disgust, but one fan in particular let their emotions get the best of them as they said some not so nice words to Raylen Wilson as he was leaving the field which resulted in him shoving Wilson.

This video went viral online and ultimately ended in Alabama taking action against this fan.
"Alabama has identified and taken appropriate action against the individual involved in videos circulating on social media following Saturday night's football game," the university said via 247Sports.com. "We take matters of this nature seriously and will not tolerate this behavior."
It's important to note that Wilson did nothing to instigate this fan. He by all account didn't say anything to the fan and did not put his hands on him at all. It's also important to mention that this singular fan does not represent the entire Alabama fan base and the quick action taken by the university shows that they do not stand with what this fan did.
Alabama did not say exactly how they are punishing this fan, but rumors are circulating that it could be a lifetime ban from Alabama athletics. That is about as harsh of a punishment as a fan can ever receive, but in this case it feels warranted.
Alabama joins Texas on the list of teams who can't handle their emotions when losing to Georgia
Alabama isn't the only school to have a fan, or in Texas' case fans, react poorly to a loss to Georgia. Two years ago Georgia traveled to Texas to take on the No. 1 Longhorns in a game they dominated all night long. Georgia won that game 30-15, but the Texas fans in the stands completely embarrassed themselves like this one Alabama fan.
Texas intercepted a pass during this game, but the officials initially called pass interference. Instead of booing like normal fans the Texas fans started throwing trash on the field which led to a long delay as they cleaned the field. During this delay the officials eventually picked up the flag which allowed the interception to stand, but the damage was already done on Texas' reputation.
There is no greater sign that Georgia is the top dog in the SEC than fans acting immaturely when their team can't beat UGA. For the past five years SEC fans have had to watch Georgia dominate the league, so it's not surprising that they are getting frustrated when they can't seem to stop them.
Unfortunately for them the Bulldogs are the favorite to win the SEC after beating Alabama last week, so Georgia's dominance may be far from over.
