The Georgia Bulldogs will host the Mississippi State Bulldogs Saturday, Oct. 12 at 4:15 EST. The game will be played at Sanford Stadium in Athens and will be televised on the SEC Network.

Former Georgia offensive lineman Matt Stinchcombwill be the SEC Network’s TV analyst for the game with Taylor Zarzour handling the play-by-play. Alyssa Lang will be the third and final member of the crew and will be working the sidelines.

Georgia football enters this game 4-1 (2-1) and feeling better about themselves after a solid 31-13 win against the Auburn Tigers last week. The Bulldogs are the No. 5 team in the country according to the AP Poll and are looking to continue their climb back up the rankings with another solid win.

Mississippi State on the other hand is as low as you can possibly get entering this game. They are unranked with a shocking 1-4 (0-2) record. MSU has fresh legs as they are coming off a bye, but they have little to feel good about after their 35-13 loss to Texas their last time out.

Georgia holds a 20-6 all time record against Mississippi State. This includes winning the last four meetings and all three under current head coach Kirby Smart.

This is a game that has blowout written all over it. That however doesn't mean Georgia can take Mississippi State lightly. We all saw what happened last week when Vanderbilt upset Alabama, so if that can happen to the Tide then it can happen to UGA too.

So here’s to hoping this game isn't much of a game at all and we finally see Georgia start a game fast and coast to the finish line.
