One of the best things about Georgia is how everyone has each others backs. Whenever a program has a big game, the fanbase, other Georgia teams and former UGA players all rally around each other and support one another.
That is especially true today as Georgia football heads to the SEC Championship game to take on Texas in a rematch from earlier this season.
Everyone is doing their part to help Georgia win this game, and that includes former Georgia basketball player and current star on the Minnesota Timberwolves Anthony Edwards, who had a message for Carson Beck after the Timberwolves win on Friday night.
”You know who I got… Carson Beck, do your thing. Let’s go and get the win.”

Carson Beck needs to be the best version of himself
It’s no secret that Beck needs to be the best version of himself in the SEC Championship game if UGA is going to win this game. Beck was not at his best in the first meeting against Texas, which thankfully didn’t end up mattering as Georgia still won by 15 points. But it’s unlikely for the Longhorns’s offense to struggle as much this time around, so Beck and the UGA offense need to be more sharp.
Beck has proven that he can show up in the biggest moments this season, so there is no doubt that he can lead Georgia on a late drive to win or get back in this game if needed. But Beck needs to be especially focused early in the game when he might be more prone to making silly mistakes.
So if he can avoid those silly mistakes, not turn the ball over, and get a little more help from his wide receivers, then Georgia will have every chance to win this game and bring a championship back to Athens.
