Georgia football has one of the biggest games of the season approaching as No. 17 Alabama heads to Athens Saturday night for an SEC showdown. Games don't get much bigger than this, but unfortunately ESPN's College GameDay doesn't see it that way as they chose to take their weekly show elsewhere.
To be fair, GameDay is heading to Penn State for their top 10 matchup against Oregon, but those programs do not live up to the standard Georgia and Alabama have set over the last decade. So many college football fans believe ESPN made a big mistake by heading north to Penn State instead of staying in the south.
Beloved college football analyst Josh Pate however is not making the same mistake as he is taking his weekly show to Athens on Saturday.

Josh Pate descending on Athens for monumental showdown between Georgia and Alabama
Pate is one of the most beloved college football analysts the sport has to offer. He hosts a very popular college football show where he shares his unbiased takes on the sport while also analyzing all of the biggest games each week throughout the country.
Pate also travels each weekend to at least one game where he will host his show on campus and take the game in on the sideline. Thankfully he made the decision ESPN refused to make by taking his show to Georgia for their game against Alabama.
Pate focuses on the entire college football landscape during his show, but this week he most certainly will be spending a large chunk of time breaking down Georgia and how they matchup with Alabama. So be sure to tune in and keep an eye out for him on Saturday during the game because he will be roaming the sidelines and posting some incredible footage on social media during the game.
