Punters are sometimes the most forgotten players on a football team. That however hasn't been the case at Georgia. Brett Thorson has been one of the most recognizable players on Georgia's team the last few years, and a big reason why is because of how special of a talent he is.
But Thorson wasn't afraid to show off his personality either, and the funny moments he had off the field contributed to the many fans he earned during his career at Georgia.
Thorson will begin his NFL career this summer, but he is still hanging around the program until he gets drafted. And in true Thorson fashion he gave Kirby Smart a comically late birthday present that broke the internet.

Brett Thorson trolls Kirby Smart with hilariously late birthday presents
Smart had a milestone birthday at the end of December as he celebrated his 50th birhtday. Georgia was gearing up for their College Football Playoff game against Ole Miss at the time, so no one made a big deal about his birthday then, but now that the season is over Thorson decided to gift his coach a present that he will never forget.
Included in Thorson's present to Smart is cold medicine, arthritis pain medicine, vitamins, hair treatment, reading glasses and pamphlets to local senior centers.
Thorson posted a picture of the gifts he got Smart, and the image went viral on social media. Smart hasn't commented on the gifts, but the reason it went so viral is because of the reaction fans can imagine Smart had when he saw the gag gifts that Thorson got him.
Moments like this are nothing new to Thorson. Two years ago he went viral for hilariously reacting to a big tackle he made during a game. So it's clear that Thorson's personality fit in perfect at Georgia, and this moment shows just how great of a teammate he really was.
Thorson is projected to be the first punter taken in the NFL Draft this month. He has a long NFL career in front of him and Georgia fans will be eager to cheer him on, but it's moments like this that make him an unforgettable player.
