The NFL is officially back as Sunday marks the first NFL Sunday of the 2025 season. This is always an extremely exciting time for Georgia fans because of how many Bulldogs they are able to track throughout the NFL.
One former Bulldog everyone will be paying close attention to is tight end Brock Bowers who is already one of the best tight ends in the NFL. He and the Las Vegas Raiders opened their season against the New England Patriots, and expectations were sky high for him after the impressive rookie season he had in 2024.
Bowers got off to an impressive start in this game, but unfortunately he went down with a knee injury and has been labeled as questionable to return for Sunday's game.

Bowers was doing what he does best before this injury as he already recorded five receptions for 103 yards. He was well on his way to adding to that total, but unfortuantly he left the game with a knee injury after being evaluated in the Raiders medical tent.
Knee injuries are very scary because it very well could result in Bowers missing the rest of the season. No official word has been released regarding the magnitude of his injury yet, but there are reasons to be concerned for his future this season.
Bowers entered the 2025 season as the No. 1 tight end in the NFL. This is the first time a player at any position earned this honor after their rookie season in the NFL, but that just speaks to how great Bowers already is.
