Carson Beck is living out Georgia's dream right now as he and Miami will play for a National Championship Monday night against Indiana. Beck however isn't getting to the title game without some controversy.

Beck went viral on social media on Saturday as he was asked about what his class schedule looks like right now. He replied saying he doesn't have any classes which sent fans into a spiral.

Carson Beck isn't a student-athlete like everyone else

It may not feel like it anymore, but everyone playing in college is a student-athlete. NIL has changed the way people view players today, but they are all still student-athletes. Beck however doesn't think that term applies to him because he is not a student at all.

Beck mentioned that he isn't going to class right now because he already graduated from Georgia. So does that mean he hasn't been going to class all year at Miami? If that's the case then it feels like he has to be breaking a rule because to play college sports you have to actually be attending that school.

Beck and Miami however have found a way around that so he could put all of his focus on football. This obviously gives him and the Hurricanes an advantage because they don't have to deal with the stress and worries that come with going to school. It may not seem fair, but that is somehow the reality of the situation.

Kickoff between Miami and Indiana is scheduled for Monday night and the Hoosiers are a pretty large favorite. Miami however has a lot of confidence that they can win this game because of how well they've been playing, but the Hoosiers do seem unbeatable right now.

But one thing is certain, everyone at Georgia would love to see Miami lose.
