Carson Beck has the biggest game of his career coming up as he and Miami are taking on Ole Miss in the College Football Playoff semifinals. The former Georgia quarterback however may not be as focused as he should be.

Georgia had the chance to face Beck and the Hurricanes if they had beat Ole Miss last week, but unfortunately they fell just short of playing their former quarterback. But that hasn't stopped Beck from having his mind on Georgia all week long.

Carson Beck can't keep Georgia's name out of his mouth

Beck first spoke about Georgia immediately after Miami beat Ohio State in their quarterfinal matchup. A reporter asked him about the potential of playing either Georgia or Ole Miss in the semifinals, but he refused to acknowledge anything specific about either team. Beck however could be seen with a small smile on his face which gave off the impression that he knew what playing Georgia would mean.

Beck then went on to create a social media post that seemed to be taking a shot at Georgia immediately after they lost to Ole Miss last week.

Last but not least was when Beck spoke about how Georgia is actually helping him prepare for his matchup with the Rebels. Georgia didn't actually help him this week, but he said that playing Ole Miss twice while he was the starting quarterback for UGA will help him during this game.

Beck and Miami will take on Ole Miss Thursday night. Georgia fans likely want to see Beck lose because him winning a National Championship would be a tough pill to swallow. But seeing a different SEC team win it all would be just as hard to watch as well.

Regardless of what happens, Beck has had his mind on Georgia all week and that could end up costing him and Miami a chance to play for a National Championship.
