So many things went right for Georgia football on Saturday during their 30-15 win over No. 1 Texas. The defense played outstanding, running back Trevor Etienne found the end zone three times, and Kirby Smart and his staff out coached the Texas staff by a mile.

But there was one player who didn't live up to expectations during this game, and that was quarterback Carson Beck.

Beck completed 23 of 41 passes on Saturday for 175 yards. He was unable to find the end zone, but when your star running back finds the end zone three times that isn't a big deal. But the thing that was the most troubling were his three interceptions.

At the end of the day, a win is a win, but if Georgia is going to accomplish all of their goals they are going to need better play from Beck.

Beck knows this as well, and voiced that during his postgame press conference on Saturday.

"I was just off the entire game," Beck said via 247Sports. "I was just off. That's really difficult. Not to say that games like that are going to happen, but I can't control everything. I can control what I can control. I got to go back and watch a film. I got to get better. I got to be better for this team. It was a great day for our defense to show up the way that they did considering the way that I played. The offense can be so much better. To come on the road and win and while not playing our best game is a huge testament to our team."

This is the exact response you would hope to see from Georgia's leader after this game. Not only does he acknoledge that he needs to be better, but he shouts out his teammates for having his back (specifically the defense) and helping them win this game.

Beck is going to have to be better going forward. Georgia still has a couple big tests remaining on their shedule this regular season, and that doesn't even consider a potential SEC championship game and the College Football Playoffs. But based on this response from Beck, it looks like he is going to be just fine.
