Instead of focusing on his season ahead at Miami (FL), Carson Beck instead is choosing to talk about Georgia a lot during his press conference at ACC Media Days on Tuesday. It isn't all that shocking that media members are asking about his time at Georgia, but what is surprising is that Beck referred to Georgia as the "last school" while answering a question about following in Cam Ward's footsteps at Miami.

"What he (Cam Ward) was able to do is undeniable, the last school I was at I followed the two-time national champion and I really didn’t feel any pressure there."

Carson Beck felt no pressure at Georgia?

Instead of just choosing to refer to Georgia by their name, Beck instead chose to call Georgia the "last school" in the above statement he made at ACC Media Days on Tuesday. What he said about Georgia isn't disrespectful at all because I'm sure he did face a lot of challenges being the next starting QB after the Bulldogs won back to back National Championships, but there is no reason for him to call UGA the "last school" like he did.

The last thing Beck said in the above quote however says a lot about his time at Georgia. Beck shared that he did not feel any pressure at Georgia even though he took over the offense immediately after legendary QB Stetson Bennett.

How is it even possible to not feel pressure after knowing what Georgia just accomplished? One would think any first time starting QB would be nervous to take the reigns after arguably the greatest QB in Georgia history just won two National Championships.

This admission from Beck however only proves what many fans felt about Beck. Georgia fans felt Beck never cared as much as he should have during his time in Athens. Who knows if that is actually true or not, but hearing Beck admit this should make Miami fans very nervous ahead of this season and make Georgia fans not feel upset that Beck left Georgia in the first place.
