Former Georgia football quarterback Carson Beck is once again making headlines. However, the headline Thursday is not what anyone wants to see.

As everyone knows, Beck transferred to Miami (FL) last month where he will play his final season of college football. This left a lot of UGA fans a little upset, but for the most part everyone has moved on from this small feeling of betrayal. However, even the people that might still be upset at Beck will not like seeing that he and his girlfriend had three cars stolen overnight in South Florida, according to On3.

Beck’s time in Miami off to a rocky start

This incident is obviously very unfair for Beck. His focus right now should be solely on acclimating to his new surroundings at Miami and getting ready for the season ahead with the Hurricanes. But this distraction will cause a huge setback for him.

Obviously the hope is that his cars will be found, because having items stolen (especially ones that are this expensive) is not right. Then Beck will finally be able to get back to getting focused and read for the season ahead.

Beck and the Hurricanes have a difficult schedule in front of them that begins with a home date against Notre Dame to kick their season off. They also have a fair amount of challenging games during ACC play as well, but the expectations for Miami are clear. They expect to win the ACC next season and make a run in the College Football Playoff.

A lot of people doubt that they will be able to accomplish that, and many Georgia fans hope they don’t, but regardless it will be exciting to see how the season plays out for Beck and Miami. And who knows, maybe these two teams will end up playing each other if they both make it into the CFP.
