Carson Beck ditched Georgia last offseason in hopes of creating a new legacy for himself. Throughout most of the season it looked like he was going to accomplish that as Miami marched all the way to the National Championship game, but as everyone knows the Hurricanes came up short against Indiana.

So after one season with Miami, Beck now leaves college football for good without winning a championship with the Hurricanes. So how will his legacy be remembered? He unfortunately will be remembered for his time in Athens.

Carson Beck's worst nightmare came true

Beck doesn't regret his time at Georgia and he certainly is proud of everything he accomplished with his teammates during his five years in Athens. But he left the program searching for something better, but he was unable to accomplish what he set out to with Miami. Now his legacy is cemented with what he accomplished at Georgia because he didn't win a championship with the Hurricanes.

The only problem for Beck is that he doesn't want to be remembered as a Bulldog.

During the National Championship broadcast, Chris Fowler shared that Beck doesn't value the two Naitonal Championships he won at Georgia. That honestly isn't that surprising because Beck was only a backup during those two titles, so while he did win two championships he didn't really contribute much.

That all would've changed had Miami beat Indiana, but they fell just short Monday night.

When Beck left Georgia he made it clear that he didn't want to be remembered as a Bulldog. But now that is the only thing he will be remembered for because he didn't accomplish anything at Miami that will be talked about beyond this year.

That doesn't mean he played bad at Miami, but his time at Gerogia was far more memorable and that is something he just has to come to terms with.
