Georgia's defense is arguably the biggest reason why the Bulldogs have been so dominant over the past decade. And so far this season they have been living up to the hype.
One CBS Sports analyst however does not agree, and they recently made one of the most absurd comparisons between Georgia and Tennessee's defense ahead of their showdown on Saturday.
“[Tennessee] looks more like a Georgia defense than Georgia has…”

CFB analyst hilariously says Tennessee's defense looks like the Georgia of old
In the above video, there is an analyst claiming that Tennessee's defense this season looks more like the dominant Georgia defenses from the past few years than UGA does this season. That statement couldn't be further from the truth.
So far this season, Georgia has given up just 13 points in their two games combined. Tennessee on the other hand has given up a whopping 43 points. This includes giving up 26 points to an unimpressive Syracuse team and 17 points to East Tennessee State. So Georgia's total points allowed this season is less than Tennessee's two individual games, so how does this statement make any sense?
Sure Georgia hasn't played any real competition yet this year, but Tennessee's schedule hasn't been much better.
Georgia will have a chance to prove all of their doubters wrong on Saturday when they take the field, but expectations should be high for UGA's offense for a lot of reasons. Not only has this Tennessee team given up a lot of points this season, but they will once again be without their two starting corners. On top of that, Georgia is expected to get two of their starters on their offensive line back as well.
All signs point towards Georgia having a dominant showing against Tennessee, and if everything goes according to plan the Bulldogs will be leaving Neyland Stadium with their ninth straight victory over the Volunteers.
