Georgia fans love to talk about how high their expectations are every season. It’s hard to blame them because of how talented they are each and every season, but one thing people don’t usually talk about is their worst case scenario.

CBS Sports however went through many of the top teams in the country and gave what they believe their worst case scenario for this season is. For Georgia that was an 8-4 record and 6-3 mark in SEC play.

“An early-season loss to Arkansas, Oklahoma or Vanderbilt ahead of the showdown at Alabama on Oct. 10 would potentially derail the campaign for the Bulldogs,” Brad Crawford said via cbssports.com. “The back half of the schedule post-Ole Miss is soft in terms of roster comparisons, so it would take an upset loss to Georgia Tech to hit this critically low number of wins.”

CBS Sports’ worst case scenario would break Georgia fans

There are two games where anyone could see Georgia losing. Those are their showdowns on the road against Alabama and Ole Miss. Outside of those two games though Georgia should expect to win each and every game.

But CBS Sports believes they could slip up elsewhere. They could see a loss to Oklahoma, Vanderbilt or even Georgia Tech occurring that would catapult them to Georgia’s worst case scenario.

The good news is that CBS Sports thinks their best case scenario is a perfect 12-0. They also laughed at Vegas oddsmakers prediction for Georgia to win 9.5 games this season.

So even though CBS Sports thinks an 8-4 record is possible, they are not predicting it to happen. And in all honesty this being the absolute worst Georgia could do is a testament to how great their program really is.

But if an 8-4 record did happen Georgia fans might not survive.
