One of the biggest stories in all of college football over the last few years in the alleged sign stealing scandal by Connor Stalion at Michigan. The NCAA is still investigating Stalions and Michigan, so there is no resolution to the alleged infractions yet, but Stalions took to social media late Friday night to discuss his side of the story.
And in his lengthy statement, he shared one interesting piece of information that Georgia football fans will find amusing.
"There were 7 games in my time at Michigan where I knew almost every signal the whole game: 2021 MSU, 2022 MSU, 2022 PSU, 2022 OSU, 2022 TCU, 2021 Georgia, and 2021 Wisconsin. We lost 3 of those games because we didn’t tackle well, and Georgia was historically good.”
Connor Stallions says Michigan had “almost every” signal in their 34-11 loss to Georgia in the 2021 CFP Semifinal

Stallions… “There were 7 games in my time at Michigan where I knew almost every signal the whole game: 2021 MSU, 2022 MSU, 2022 PSU, 2022 OSU, 2022 TCU, 2021… https://t.co/RKQgi9gckR
Michigan had almost every Georgia signal in 2021 CFP game
Georgia and Michigan met in the 2021 College Football Playoff semifinals, and Stalions was a member of the Michigan coaching staff at this time. And according to Stalions himself, he had "almost every signal" that he was relaying to the coaching staff and team during this game.
The hilarious part about this is that even though he had nearly every signal in this game, Georgia still dominated them 34-11.
This shows UGA fans just how elite that team was, because even though all of their signs were stolen they were still able to dominate a good Michigan team and win by 23 points.
It will be interesting as this story continues to unfold to see if Michigan will be punished or not. It seems unlikely they get off free without any punishment after Stalions was caught in a disguise on the Central Michigan University sideline in a game at Michigan State helping them steal the signs of their rival, but it is the NCAA involved here so who knows what will happen.
