Can Georgia win a National Championship next season? Most college football fans would answer yes to that question, but how likely is it is the better question.
Georgia fans are more confident than others, but that doesn't include former Bulldog David Pollack. He recently spoke about what it will take for UGA to win a championship, and he put all of Georgia's hopes on Gunner Stockton.
“If Gunner Stockton’s the same quarterback he was a year ago, Georgia has no chance to win a natty,” Pollack said via dawgnation.com. “I saw him grow. I saw him put more touch on the football instead of trying to throw it through everybody’s chest, which he has a tendency to do. It’s all fastballs. Like I like some change-ups.”

Pollack believes that Georgia stands no chance at winning a National Championship this year if Stockton doesn't improve a lot. He did infer that it is possible that he will be much better next season, but he hinted at the immense challenge that it will be for Stockton to improve as much as he needs to.
The good news is that Stockton has a lot of things in his favor. The end to Georgia's season last year should give him all the motivation he needs to improve this offseason. On top of that, he has already shown a lot of signs that he is improving this offseason during the first few weeks of spring practice.
The rest of the team around Stockton needs to get better in order for Georgia to win it all next season. Stockton however is the most important piece of the puzzle as he can single-handedly make or break Georgia's season next year based soley on well he plays.
