Georgia football has the biggest game of their season quickly approaching as they are gearing up for their rematch against Alabama. Not only do they have a chance to finally beat Alabama for only the second time under Kirby Smart, but they have an opportunity to repeat as SEC Champions as well. Accomplishing that however will be no easy task.
David Pollack recently discussed how challenging beating Alabama will be, and he focused on the injury to starting center Drew Bobo. He believes that this injury is going to hurt Georgia's offense more than anyone realizes and that it is "the difference in picking this game."
Pollack continued to discuss how impactful this injury is, and after Gunner Stockton and Zachariah Branch he believes Bobo is the most important player to Georgia's team. So the fact that he has already been ruled out for Saturday's game is a reason for fans to be very concerned

David Pollack voices extreme concern due to Drew Bobo's absence
Bobo is an elite blocker both in the run and pass game. But his impact is felt beyond just want he brings as a blocker as he communicates with he fellow offensive linemen and Stockton before every play to make sure they understand their blocking assignments.
The moment Bobo left the Georgia Tech game it was immediately apparent how important he was to the team. Georgia's offense stalled out the second he left the game, and after a first half where they could run the ball at will they began to struggle just picking up a few yards. And if Georgia continues to have issues running the ball then Pollack believes this game will get ugly.
"If they can't run it, it's going to get ugly. It won't be pretty," Pollack said.
Georgia has had all week to prepare for life without Bobo, but that may not be enough time to get ready to play without him. Dominating the trenches is important every game, but in a battle with Alabama without their starting center the trenches could be the difference between Georgia winning and losing.
