The Georgia Bulldogs have not been on the National Championship stage since 2022, when they won back-to-back National Championships. Georgia is hoping to return to the title game this season, but if they can't, the young guys coming in from the Class of 2026 are poised and ready to bring the trophy back to Athens when they arrive.

When 5-star quarterback Jared Curtis and 4-star safety Chace Calicut, who just recently committed to the Bulldogs, get together, it shows they are excited about their upcoming careers at Georgia. In a video posted by 247Sports, both prospects introduced themselves as commits to the Bulldogs and even said they are ready to bring a National Championship to Georgia.

These young players are hungry and ready to bring back the National Championship ways back to Georgia, and that kind of winning mindset is exactly what the Bulldogs need out of their future incoming players.

Jared Curtis and Chace Calicut are ready for their careers at Georgia

Curtis and Calicut are two stars headlining this elite Georgia 2026 class. Both the five-star quarterback and the four-star safety are just two of the 24 commits head coach Kirby Smart has brought in to the Class of 2026.

Calicut is one of the 11 four-star commits at Georgia, and Curtis is the only five-star to commit to the Bulldogs so far in this recruiting cycle. Smart has put together the best recruiting class this recruiting cycle with the No. 2 overall class according to 247Sports. The last few weeks have been the biggest for Smart and his coaching staff when it comes to commitments.

Even though there have been some losses on the recruiting trail, there have also been some big wins, including Curtis and Calicut. With the recruiting cycle starting to slow, Georgia could see fewer commitments, but don't think there still won't be some big announcements coming.
