Georgia is making quick work with a lot of players in the 2027 recruiting class. One example of that is with in-state linebacker Joakim Gouda who was just predicted to commit to Georgia.

Amare Patterson is another recruit that Georgia has been making a lot of progress with as well. No predictions have been made in his recruitment like with Gouda, but he just sent Georgia a clear sign that they may be the No. 1 team in his recruitment right now.

Amare Patterson sent Georgia a clear message

Patterson is a four-star wide receiver who is the No. 332 overall player in the country according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He also is the No. 46 wide receiver in the 2027 recruiting class and the No. 8 player from his home state of South Carolina as well.

Patterson's recruitment has really been heating up over the last few weeks as he had a big performance at a recent recruiting camp. Multiple plays he made went viral on social media, so that likely will lead to even more teams reaching out to start recruiting him. The good news for Georgia though is that they have already been recruiting him for a long time which could give them a leg up on everyone else.

There is very little information known about who leads in Patterson's recruitment right now. Georgia has felt confident they are at least one of his top teams, but even that is not confirmed either. But Patterson may have just confirmed that Georgia is his No. 1 school because he shared the above social media post highlighting Georgia gloves he was wearing.

There is a good chance he has gloves from every other school recruiting him as well. He however has not posted pictures of those gloves like he did with Georgia, so this may be a sign that UGA is his top school right now.
